Prior to starting Take Time For Yourself Massage in 2006, I worked in the social services field. While working and raising a family, I began to sense my home/work-life was not in balance. I felt excess stress within me,
and witnessed it in my coworkers and clients. I decided to attend the Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodywork in NE Minneapolis.
As a massage therapist, I discovered a holistic way to live out my
passion of caring for others and ensuring their well-being, as well
as finding personal balance.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
I really enjoy the outdoors and LOVE to travel. Being in nature during all four seasons really recharges my soul. Running, yoga, skiing, hiking,
and kayaking are some of my favorite ways to work out. I enjoy
cooking and am trying as best I can to incorporate healthy, clean
foods into my family's meals.
